Plant-based Omega-3 reimagined Ahiflower® Omega 3 is based on the seed oil of the plant *Buglossides arvensis* and provides an exceptionally broad spectrum of polyunsaturated fatty acids. At its core is the combination of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), stearidonic acid (SDA), and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) – a composition that significantly distinguishes it from classic plant-based Omega-3 sources. Particularly noteworthy is the content of stearidonic acid (SDA), a rare Omega-3 fatty acid. SDA is considered a direct precursor to EPA and thus represents a functional expansion within plant-based fatty acid sources.
